MILTON, Mass. – Nick Crumb '18 (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.) is the next to be featured in our Alumni Spotlight series. He was a Criminal Justice major with a concentration in Homeland Defense and a member of the Curry College football program.
Current place of employment: Trump Tower at City Center (White Plains, N.Y.)
Current job title and what does that position entail? Security Coordinator – I oversee daily security operations at the 35-story building.
How did being a student-athlete at Curry assist in preparing you for your career? I learned how to work on a team and how to be a leader. Additionally, I learned how to deal with adversity, how to communicate, and understand people from all walks of life.
What piece of advice would you have for current Curry College student-athletes? Make the most of your experience at Curry and leave it better than you found it.
What is your most fond memory of Curry College Athletics? The brotherhood amongst the football program and the blood, sweat, and tears during offseason workouts and training camp.
What would you say were your greatest athletic and academic accomplishments at Curry College? Graduating with honors and becoming of the national criminal justice honor society. As an athlete my greatest accomplishment was helping my team get to the 2017 New England Bowl.
Why did you choose Curry College? The academic and athletic programs. I was very impressed by Coach Bandini and the football program.
