MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Three members of the Curry College Football team recently participated in the 2017 D3 Senior All-Star Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a contest that gives the chance for Division III football student-athletes to put their talents on display in front of professional scouts from all levels of post-collegiate football. Steven Grogan (Forestdale, Mass.) was named the Defensive MVP of the contest while Joe Surace (West Islip, N.Y.) brought home the "Defensive Trench Warrior of the Game" award. Joseph Grogan (Forestdale, Mass.) was the final representative for the Colonels in the all-star game.   

The teams for the contest are divided into D3 North and South squads. All three student-athletes were members of the North team.
