Cawlina Participates in Euro-American Challenge, a Postseason All-Star Game

MILTON, Mass.- This past Friday senior wide receiver Jake Cawlina (Danvers, Mass.) suited up for the USA team in the Euro-American Challenge, a postseason all-star game in Myrtle Beach, S.C. that featured top student-athletes and football players that spanned all three divisions. The USA squad defeated the team from Europe by a final of 36-24.

The game is typically attended by numerous professional scouts from all levels of post-collegiate football.

Cawlina had an outstanding year on the field for the Colonels. He played in all nine games for Curry this past season and recorded 60 receptions for a total of 945 yards and 13 touchdowns. The 13 touchdowns were tied for the NEFC lead in touchdown receptions. He also averaged 105 receiving yards per game, which ranked second in the conference.  

Following the season he was named to the All-NEFC First Team on the offensive side of the ball.
