Bridgewater, MA - The Curry Colonels baseball team fell on Tuesday to the Bridgewater State Bears by a final score of 11-4. With the loss the Colonels are now 3-10 on the season, while the Bears are 6-6.

The Colonels struck first, scoring two in the second on a George Calderon RBI single, and then a ground out, making it 2-0. But the Bears would respond with two in the third, and then took the lead with three in the fourth. The Colonels got it within one in the fifth, scoring twice. The first on a Kyle Doolin sacrifice fly, and then the second on an Aidan Finnegan RBI single. This made it 5-4 Bears, but a six run bottom half for BSU made it 11-4, the score they would eventually win the game by.

Aidan Finnegan had a huge game at the plate, going 4-5, accounting for nearly half of the team's nine hits.

Luke Gomes picked up the loss on the mound, going four innings, allowing four hits and three earned runs. Colman Dyer pitched effectively out of the pen, striking out three over 1.1 innings.
