BIDDEFORD, Maine - Phil Ledwith (Old Saybrook, Conn.), a graduate student on the Curry College baseball team was named Pitcher of the Week by the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The announcement came from the league offices Monday afternoon.

Graduate pitcher Phil Ledwith turned in Curry's strongest outing of the season last Monday, hurling a complete game two-hit shutout of SUNY Poly in Florida. Ledwith struck out 11 in the victory, while allowing just two walks.

Ledwith is Curry Baseball's first conference award honoree this season. 

Curry College Baseball will get back out on the field Wednesday, March 23 as they host the Bridgewater State University Bears on the Jack Vallely Diamond on the campus of Curry College at 3 PM.
