Curry had the answer in the home half of the fourth to re-gain the advantage, 3-2. Freshman Ryan Goonan (Raynham, Mass.) got the scoring started when he singled to right field to plate sophomore Peter Sylvia (Brockton, Mass.). Jaume would later score on a wild pitch.

The Bison pulled back in front in the fifth when graduate student Kyle Bouchard (Fall River, Mass.) launched a two-run homer to right field to give Nichols a one-run advantage, 4-3.

The Colonels tied the game at 4-4 in the sixth when Sylvia reached on an error at second base, allowing senior Garrett Fosher (Exeter, N.H.) to touch home.

The Bison registered three runs in the seventh and shut down Curry in the home half of the inning to preserve the win. Caron singled to right field to plate Andrew Croteau while sophomore Will Kleinhenz (Madison, Conn.) singled through the left side to bring around Caron and graduate student Jack Arend (Newfields, N.H.).

Jaume went 2-for-3 with two runs scored to lead the Curry offense.
