SPRINGFIELD, Mass.  – Curry College junior pitcher David Griffin (Hanover, Mass.) has been named an All-CCC First Team Selection, as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. This marks the third straight season Griffin has landed on an all-conference team, earning First Team honors last season and Third Team as a freshman.

Griffin has made 11 appearances on the hill for the Colonels so far this season, tallying a record of 3-4 with three saves and five complete games. He has tossed 60.1 innings and has struck out 49 batters while only walking 17. He has posted an earned run average of 1.64, which ranks fifth in the conference. He also ranks in the top five of the conference in strikeouts and saves. He is tied for third overall with 49 K's and is tied for third in saves with three.

Griffin and Curry will return to the field on Saturday for Game Three of the CCC Tournament when they travel to Newport, R.I. to take on top seed Salve Regina at noon.
