Quinn and Langton Earn CCC Weekly Awards

BIDDEFORD, Maine - A pair of Curry College student-athletes earned weekly recognition from the Commonwealth Coast Conference on Monday afternoon.

Freshman Montie Quinn (Goose Creek, S.C.) earned CCC Football Offensive Rookie of the Week honors, while sophomore Anna Langton (Zimmerman, Minn.), a member of the Curry women's ice hockey team, was named the CCC's Goaltender of the Week.

Quinn had yet another huge weekend for the Colonels, rushing the ball 26 times for 187 yards and a touchdown in Curry's 49-28 loss to Nichols College. He averaged 7.2 yards per carry in the contest, with a long of 50 yards. He finishes his rookie season with 1,165 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns. 

Making her first start of the season, Langton turned aside 42 shots to lift Curry to a 2-1 victory over the University of New England on Saturday afternoon. She was just 50.2 seconds away from the shutout when UNE scored with the extra attacker on the ice.

For Quinn, it is his sixth Offensive Rookie of the Week award of the season, while Langton earns CCC weekly honors for the first time in her career.
