WENHAM, Mass. – The Curry College women's cross country team finished eighth at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Meet hosted by Gordon College on Saturday morning.

The Colonels were led by junior Karina Murcia (Culver City, Calif.) who placed 44th with a time of 31:27. Murcia was followed by freshman Nicole Bobadilla (Marshfield, Mass.) who placed 47th with a time of 34:45.  Following Bobadilla was freshman Ashley Cloutier (Bridgewater, Mass.), 34:46 (48th), sophomore Karlee Walkowiak (Whittingham, Vt.), 36:13 (50th) and senior Audrey Swope (Marlton, N.J.), 38:43, (52nd).

Curry will return to the course on Saturday, November 3 at the ECAC Championship Meet hosted by Mount Saint Mary's College in Milton, N.Y. The women's race is set for noon.
