Cross Country Opens Season at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Curry College women's cross country team opened the 2018 season at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon. With only three runners, the Colonels could not place.

Leading the way for Curry was junior Karina Murcia (Culver City, Calif.), who finished in 292nd place in a time of 27:42. Following Murcia was sophomore Karlee Walkowiak (Whittingham, Vt.), who placed 295th in a time of 28:45. Rounding out the runners for the Colonels was freshman Ashley Cloutier (Bridgewater, Mass.), who placed 307th finishing the race in a time of 31:09.

Curry will return to the course on Saturday, September 22 at 10:45 a.m. as they will compete in the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College.
