Sydney was born in Providence, R.I...is majoring in public health & wellness at Curry, with a minor in psychology...the daughter of Alicia and David DeCarvalho...has one younger sister, Alexis...favorite spot on campus: Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium...chose Curry for the tight-knit community and the opportunity to play on the women's volleyball team

Sydney is a 2023 graduate of The Prout School in Wakefield, R.I...played three years of varsity volleyball for the Crusaders...a state runner-up in 2021...recipient of her team's Most Improved Player Award...selected to the Francis Lewis All-Tournament Team as a senior
