SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the third straight week, Curry College freshman Peyton Perine (Fairfax, Va.) has been recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the sport of women's basketball.

Perine produced close to a double-double in 27 minutes for Curry on Tuesday, December 4. She scored 20 points on 9-for-16 (56.3 percent) shooting, while also bringing down nine boards in the Colonels' 52-31 CCC win over Nichols. She also had two blocks in the contest.

Perine and Curry (4-4 overall, 2-1 CCC) will return to action on Thursday, December 20 against Widener University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. at 10:00 a.m. as apart of the Cruzin' Classic.
