SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College freshman Lexi Pereira (Attleboro, Mass.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Pereira led the Colonels with 25 kills in two matches this week. She recorded a team-high 17 kills, six digs, and one block in a five-set loss to Western New England and then had an eight-kill, 13-dig performance in a sweep of Husson. Overall she averaged 3.13 kills and 2.38 digs per set, while also averaging 3.2 points per set.

Pereira and the Colonels return to action on Tuesday, September 25 at Gordon at 7:00 p.m.
