The Curry women's lacrosse team enters the 2020 season coming off a campaign last season which saw the Colonels make a six-win improvement from the year before, making the CCC Tournament for the first time since 2016. The squad enters its second season under head coach Anne O'Byrne. The team has a veteran group of 15 returners and welcomes in six newcomers.

Senior Abby Dubel (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and junior Allie Wysocki (Agawam, Mass.) headline the returners as the duo was named the All-CCC Second Team and Third Team, respectively. Dubel finished last season with a team-high 43 points. Wysocki ranked in the top six on the squad with 30 points. Curry also welcomes back top returning point recorders in junior Katie Parker (Branford, Conn.) (39), senior Leona Stevens (Kingston, Mass.) (38), and sophomore Sharon Doherty (North Easton, Mass.) (34).

The Colonels also welcome back to sophomore goalie Jessica Ginaitt (Warwick, R.I.). She finished last season ranked fourth in the CCC with 165 saves.

Curry opens the season on Saturday, Feb. 29 at Smith College.
