SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the sixth time this season, Curry College freshman Peyton Perine (Fairfax, Va.) has been recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the sport of women's basketball.

Perine (Fairfax, Va.) and Curry picked up two more conference wins this week. Perine averaged 19.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in the two contests. She started the week with a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Colonels knocked off Wentworth, 63-51. She then added 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks in a 58-44 win over Nichols. The freshman shot 42.9 percent (15-for-35) from the field this week. 

Perine and the Colonels (10-7 overall, 7-2 CCC) will host Endicott on Saturday, January 26 at 1:00 p.m.
