MILTON, Mass. – Curry College freshman Emily Irwin (Billerica, Mass.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.  Irwin scored double-figures in each of Curry's two games this week as the Colonels went 1-1. She scored 10 points in a road conference win at Wentworth before dropping 14 in a loss at Johnson and Wales (R.I.). For the week, Irwin shot 56.3 percent (9-for-16) and averaged 2.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game.
