DEDHAM, Mass. - Members of the Curry College Women's Basketball Team recently volunteered to work the Dedham Food Pantry. This service opportunity was arranged through the College's Office of Student Activities.

Among the duties for the student-athletes were to act as shoppers helping people who would come into shop, assisting those people with transporting the groceries to their car, and unloading any groceries that had been donated to the pantry.

Established in 1990 in the basement of St. John's Methodist Church, the food pantry currently serves approximately 160 Dedham families each month.

The three Colonels' student-athletes in the accompanying photo are seniors Kerry White, Shannon Griffith and Elizabeth Aekus.
