SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Curry College freshman guard Kylie Beltz (Pequot Lakes, Minn.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the period ending December 4.

Beltz helped the Colonels to a 3-1 week. The rookie netted double-digits in nearly every game, with her best performance coming in a 66-52 victory over CCC foe Nichols, in which she put up 16 points shooting 43% from the field (6-of-14), 50% from the three-point line (2-of-4), and was perfect from the charity stripe (2-of-2). Beltz went on to put up 13 points in a tight 54-52 triumph over league rival Gordon, and another 10 points against Southern Vermont. Beltz averaged 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 3.5 steals per game last week.
