MILTON, Mass. – Curry College junior first baseman/pitcher Janelle Mayo (Worcester, Mass.) was named as The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Player of the Week for the period of March 29 - April 4.

Mayo led the Colonels to a perfect 5-0 weekly record, batting .625 (10-for-16) with four RBI in the process. In addition to hitting safely in all five Curry victories, Mayo collected three two-hit games and a one three-hit game over the course of the week. In the pitching circle, Mayo also shined, as she posted a 2-0 record, as she tossed complete games against TCCC foes Gordon and Nichols.
