2014 Men's Tennis All-CCC Team Announced; Blatchford and Temin are Honorable Mention Selections

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Student-athletes from eight different member institutions in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) were represented on the 2014 All-CCC Men's Tennis Team. In addition to the all-conference team, four major award winners and the team sportsmanship award winner were also selected. Voting for the All-CCC team and each of the major awards was conducted among CCC men's tennis coaches.

Nichols graduate student Justin DeLuca was selected as the CCC Player of the Year, while Bison teammate Joan Castillo was tabbed CCC Rookie of the Year. Western New England's Tyler Unwin was honored as the CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, while Nichols' Paul Brower was dubbed CCC Coach of the Year and Gordon College was the recipient of the Team Sportsmanship Award.

Eight players were voted as singles honorable mention selections including Curry College sophomore Toma Blatchford. Four double's teams also earned honorable mention including Blatchford and Curry freshman Valvel Temin.
