SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior Billy Vizzo (Shelton, Conn.) has been recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week while freshman Kalle Sundell (Helsinki, Finland) has been named as the CCC Rookie of the Week for the sport of men's ice hockey, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

Vizzo had a role in half of the scores during Curry's 10-goal outburst in a win over Becker to close out the regular-season on Saturday. He scored a hat trick and handed out two assists. His first tally came in the middle frame, while the final two came in the third. One of his third-period scores came on the power play. He finished the game with a plus-three rating.

Sundell scored two goals in the Colonels' regular-season ending victory over Becker on Saturday. One of his goals came on the man-advantage and he finished the game with a plus-one rating.

Vizzo, Sundell, and Curry (16-6-3 overall, 11-4-2 CCC) have earned the number two seed for the CCC Championship Tournament and will host the second-lowest remaining seed in the field in the semifinals on Saturday, February 23 at 6:50 p.m.
