MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College men's hockey team lost to Endicott College, 6-3, in ECAC Northeast action on Saturday evening at the Max Ulin Rink in Milton, Mass. The loss drops the Colonels to 9-14-2 overall and 5-10-1 in conference play.  With the win, the Gulls improve to 15-8-2 on the season and 11-4-1 in the conference.

Six total goals were scored between the two teams in the opening minutes of play.  Curry was first to get on the board at 4:09 after freshman Zachery White (Milford, Conn.) sent the puck past the glove of Endicott's freshman goaltender Kevin Aldridge (Beverly Hills, Mich.).  White was assisted by sophomore Phil Kiss (Burlington, Ontario) and freshman Lionel Mauron (Lausanne, Switzerland).  The Gulls wasted little time answering back as freshman Cam Bleck (Lake Forest, Ill.) tallied his team's first just 40 seconds later. Endicott took the lead at the 7:12 minute mark when they took advantage of a man-up advantage.  Freshman Dominic Nitti (Cottage Grove, Minn.) netted the puck with help from Bleck and freshman Thomas Daniels (St. Louis, Mo.).  Curry tied the score at two, 1:12 minute later on their own power-play situation.  Senior Brian White (Santa Ana, Calif.) scored off assists from classmate Shane Harrington (Mansfield, Mass.) and junior Jake Heisinger (Winnipeg, Manitoba).  The Gulls reeled off the final two goals of the stanza to take a 4-2 lead heading into the break.  At 12:09 Tommy Besinger (Milton, Mass.) made it a 3-2 game followed by Alex Marcinek (Byron Center, Mich.) who tallied the game-winner at 13:47 on a another power-play. 

Besinger earned his second goal on the night 8:38 into the period to extended Endicott's lead to three.  Besinger took a slap shot from just over the blue line that sent the puck over the shoulder of Curry's freshman netminder Spencer Cookson (Sheffield, Mass.).  The Colonels final score of the game came at 11:49 off an unassisted tally by freshman Mack Heisinger (Winnipeg, Manitoba). 

Josh Bowes (Sturgeon County, Alberta, Canada) rounded out the scoring for the Gulls in the final stanza.  With 10:07 left to play, Bowes netted his team's third power-play goal on the night for the 6-3 victory. 

The Colonels went 1-5 on power-plays while Endicott was 3-8.

Cookson registered 29 saves in the loss for the Colonels.  Aldridge made 28 stops in the win for the Gulls.

Curry sees its 2015-16 season come to a close tonight.  Endicott awaits word on its seeding in the upcoming Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast postseason tournament
