Men's Basketball Assists With Rodman's Ride For Kids

FOXBORO, Mass. – On Saturday, September 21, the Curry College men's basketball program took part in the 29th Annual Rodman's Ride for Kids. 17 men's basketball student-athletes took part in the event, volunteering to help breakdown tables, chairs, banners and helping with the overall cleanup.

Rodman's Ride for Kids is an umbrella charity raising funds for youth-focused social-service organizations that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. Rodman for Kids and its affiliated charities fundraise year-round, culminating with the Ride for Kids event, a 25 and 50-mile non-competitive cycling tour each fall. Their mission is to have every kid in the community live as we would want our own kids to live.

"The players really enjoyed taking part in an event that has a great cause attached to it," said Colonels' head men's basketball coach Joe Busacca. "We are looking forward to being a part of this event for years to come."
