MILTON, Mass.- For the second straight week, junior quarterback Alex Corvese (Cranston, R.I.) was named the NEFC Offensive Player of the Week. 

Corvese followed up his seven touchdown pass performance from last week against Coast Guard with a five touchdown performance in Curry's 42-41 victory over Maine Maritime on Saturday afternoon. He went 30-for-52 (57.7%) for 305 yards and five touchdowns. His final touchdown, a 13 yard pass, tied the game at 41 in the fourth quarter and the point after proved to be the difference in the game.

Corvese and the Colonels will now embark on a two-game road trip beginning Saturday when they travel to play Nichols at noon.
