Yule Named as the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston's Division III Assistant Football Coach of the Year

BOSTON, Mass. - Gridiron Club of Greater Boston Awards Committee chairman Tim Whelan announced that its 2015 Assistant Coach of the Year awards will be presented to Boston College defensive coordinator Don Brown in the Bowl/Championship Division; Eli Gardner, assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at Stonehill College, in Division II; and  Dick Yule, quarterbacks and special teams coach at Curry College, in Division III.

Yule recently completed his eighth year as an assistant football coach at Curry in 2015. He is a 1975 Boston University graduate where he earned a B.S. degree in Journalism. Yule played four seasons for the Terriers at both quarterback and safety.

Yule previously coached at M.I.T. for 24 years. He was the Engineers' defensive coordinator from 1983-1995, and their assistant head coach from 1995-2007.

Since 1992, Yule has worked as a vice president at M&M Production in Newton, Mass. He was born and raised in Syracuse, N.Y. where he attended Christian Brothers Academy. He currently lives in Newton, Mass. with his wife Susan and son Sean.

The Gridiron Club of Greater Boston's annual awards banquet will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Burlington Marriott Hotel.
