BOSTON, Mass. – The Curry College women's cross country team finished 17th of 19 teams at the Suffolk University Invitational at Franklin Park on Friday afternoon.

Curry was led by junior Karina Murcia (Culver City, Calif.) who placed 91st with a time of 25:21. Murcia was followed by freshman Ashley Cloutier (Bridgewater, Mass), who finished 115th with a time of 28:08. Senior Harper Meakin (Marblehead, Mass.) was the third Curry runner to finish in 116^th in a time of 28:16. Freshmen Nicole Bobadilla (Marshfield, Mass.) (122^nd, 28:49), Leen Salloum (Norton, Mass.) (137^th, 32:48), and Aminah Foshee (Braintree, Mass.) (138^th, 32:48) rounded the runners in the field for the Colonels.

Curry will be off next week before heading to the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship Meet hosted by Gordon College on October 27. The time of the race is to be determined.
