Sweeney Leads Cross Country at Pop Crowell Invitational

WENHAM, Mass.—The University of New England Women's Cross Country team took the top spot in the 2013 Pop Crowell Invitational by having their top five runners finish amongst the first 12 to cross the finish line. On the men's side, Georgia College, won the team competition despite the long trip up to Massachusetts from Millegeville, Georgia. The Bobcats placed five runners in the top 10 to win going away.

The Nor'easters finished with 35 points, while Georgia College came in second with a team score of 46 points. Emmanuel College (Mass.) was a distant third with 113 points on the morning.
