Women's Volleyball Defeated by Eastern Nazarene, 3-0

 QUINCY, Mass. - The Curry College women's volleyball team fell by a 3-0 final on Thursday night in non-conference action at Eastern Nazarene College.

The Lions (9-3 overall) won by set scores of 25-17, 25-14 and 25-22. Courtney McCarthy (Merrimack, N.H.) paced Eastern Nazarene with a match-high 19 kills while Ruth Aguilar (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) added 14. Aguilar also dished out a team-high 23 assists. McKenzie Walling (Rock Hill, S.C.) finished with a match-high 17 digs.

The Colonels (3-9 overall) were led by Amanda Wood (Tokyo, Japan) with seven kills and five digs while Rachel Damstra (Houston, Texas) contributed a team-high 11 digs. Alexis Bell (Salem, Conn.) closed the match with a match-high 24 assists.

Curry will next play a doubleheader at New England College on Saturday, September 29. The Colonels will take on Framingham State at noon before facing off against the host Pilgrims at 2:00 p.m.
