Curry Stumbles at UNE (25-15, 25-17, 25-21)

Milton, Mass- The Curry Volleyball team dropped their second conference game of the season as the Colonels fell in three sets to the University of New England. The Nor'easters' captured the first set 25-15 and then went on to take the final two sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-21. 

Curry was led by Nicole Rice (Woburn, Mass.), who led Curry with 10 kills. Grace Stafford (West Yarmouth, Mass.) had a near double-double posting eight kills and 11 digs.

Alyssa Keeney (Coventry, Conn.) and Makayla Hughes (Franklin, N.H.) dished out 25 combined assists while Stafford and Nicole Grambley (North Attleboro, Mass.) tied for the team lead with 11 digs. Erika Sawicki paced UNE with 13 kills and Kristen Falcinelli handed out a match high 34 assists. 

The Colonels continue their season long four-game road trip Saturday when they head to Salem State for a tri-match. Curry is set to square off against Salem State at 11 a.m. and will then face WPI at 1 p.m.
