Women's Volleyball Earns 3-1 Win at Becker

LEICESTER, Mass. – Curry College defeated Becker College 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18) in non-conference women's volleyball action Thursday evening in the Leicester Gymnasium. The win propels the Colonels to 3-5, while the Hawks remain winless at 0-5.

Junior middle hitter Emily Boudreau (Marshfield, Mass.) led the way for Curry with 16 kills. Hannah Robison (Cumberland, R.I.) contributed a match high 20 assists, in addition to four kills. Freshman outside hitter Nicole Grambley (North Attleboro, Mass.) added five serve aces, nine kills and a team high 11 digs to help the Colonels to their third win of the season.

Senior Jacqueline Chila (Monroe, Conn,) led the way for the Hawks with a team high 12 kills. Katelyn Burns (Fall River, Mass.) had eight kills and a game high 12 digs in a losing effort. Freshman Marissa Turner (Coventry, R.I.) finished with nine kills.

Both teams return to the court on Saturday, September 14 when Becker travels to Green Mountain College at 12:00 p.m. Curry is slated to host Salem State and Suffolk University beginning at 11:00 a.m. (Release courtesy of Becker Sports Information)
