Women's Tennis Tripped Up By Nichols, 9-0

DUDLEY, Mass. – The Curry College women's tennis team fell to Nichols College by a 9-0 final at the Robinson Tennis Courts on Thursday afternoon. With the victory, the Bison move to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play while the Colonels slip to 0-8 overall and 0-4 in the CCC.

Nichols began the match with a clean 3-0 sweep of doubles play, not dropping a single game.

The Bison continued its strong play into the singles portion of the competition. The home squad won each of the six singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 finals.

Curry will return to action on Saturday, September 29 at home against Endicott at noon. The match is a part of Homecoming and Family Weekend for the Colonels. Nichols will next play on Saturday at home against Western New England at 11:00 a.m.
