Jessica Magliato and Caroline McCarthy would also collect an 8-0 victory at #2, defeating Stephanie LeBlanc (East Bridgewater, Mass.) and Taylor Johnson (Abington, Mass.).

At singles, Akerman extended her winning streak to eight straight with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Hardy at #1, while Hughes set down Harrington by a similar 6-0, 6-0 margin at #2. Taryn Roche earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at #4 singles. At #3, LeBlanc would be the only Colonel to take a game on the day, but still fell 6-1, 6-0 to Ali Stankiewicz.
