Women's Tennis Downs Salve Regina, 7-2

NEWPORT, R.I. - Winning all three doubles matches put Curry College women's tennis in the driver's seat en route to a 7-2 victory over Salve Regina University in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday.

The Colonels won four out of six singles matches and swept all three doubles matches.

In singles, seniors Emily Mongello (Plymouth, Mass.), Megan Mulrooney (South Boston, Mass.), freshman Molly Louis (Guilford, Conn.) and sophomore Kimberly Love (Windsor Locks, Conn.) were all victorious. 

In doubles, the Colonels earned all three points when Mongello and senior Lauren Chuha (Reading, Mass.) won at the #1 spot, Love and Mulrooney took care of their opponents at #2 and seniors Devin Curley (Marshfield, Mass.) and Elizabeth Zarkades (Beverly, Mass.) earned their team points in the #3 slot.
