KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  United Soccer Coaches announced their Team Academic Award winners Thursday at the high school and college levels to recognize exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year and the Curry College women's soccer team has received a College Team Academic Award.

A total of 995 college soccer teams (346 men, 649 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year.

This is the second consecutive year the women's team has been recognized with this award. The Colonels registered a 3.5 GPA last fall and a 3.55 in the spring for a cumulative team GPA of 3.53.
