Women's Soccer Doubled Up By Endicott

MILTON, Mass. – Endicott College used three second-half goals to beat Curry College, 4-2, on Saturday night at Walter M. Katz Field on Homecoming and Family Weekend in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.

Endicott (7-4-0 overall, 2-1-0 CCC) opened the scoring in the 33rd minute as Hailey Demers (Charlton, Mass.) fired a shot from 20 yards out and past Colonels' freshman keeper Oliver Hutchinson (Scituate, Mass.)

The Gulls struck again in the 55th minute senior Hannah Pesci (Windham, N.H.) finished off a touch pass from junior Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.).

The Colonels got a goal back in the 60th minute as junior Tayla Randall (Walpole, Mass.) netted his first goal of the match and tenth on the season off a helper from freshman Madison Grafton (Abington, Mass.).

Prisco found the net for her second goal of the match in the 63rd minute while Randall answered back in the 64th minute. Senior Catherine Elkas (Holden, Mass.) tallied the final goal of the night 23 seconds after Randall off a pass from Presser for the 4-2 final.

Senior Kayla Wentworth (Taunton, Mass.) picked up the win in net for Endicott, finishing the game with nine saves. Hutchinson finished with 10 saves for Curry (6-6-0 overall, 1-2-0 CCC).

The Colonels will return to the field on Tuesday, October 10 when they travel to Clark University at 7:00 p.m. Endicott will next play on Tuesday, October 8 at home against Salem State at 7:00 p.m.
