Randall, Dimond Recognized on CCC All-Conference Teams

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – A pair of Curry College women's soccer players were honored by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) on Friday as the league announced its annual awards.

Sophomore Tayla Randall (Walpole, Mass.) earned Second Team All-Conference honors while fellow sophomore Jocelyn Dimond (Weare, N.H) was named to the league's Third Team. All selections were determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches.

Randall earned a spot on the all-conference second team after leading the Colonels in goals (9) and points (20) this season. She appeared in 18 games, making 18 starts and also tallied two assists. Three of the goals were game-winners. Randall's nine goals ranked her tied for third in the CCC. Her 20 points placed fourth overall in the league.

Dimond, a defender, enjoyed a productive season in which she started all 19 games and recorded one goal for two points. Her lone goal came off of a penalty kick in an 8-0 non-conference victory over Mass. Maritime.

Curry finished the season with an overall record of 8-9-2 (1-5-2 CCC).
