2017 Curry Women's Soccer Season Outlook

MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College Women's Soccer team enters the 2017 coming off a 2016 season that saw them earn a trip to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) semifinals. The squad finished 2016 with an 11-9-2 overall record with a 4-4-1 mark in the CCC. Curry then earned a trip to the ECAC Tourmanent. The Colonels look to continue their momentum from 2016 and advance further in the conference tournament with a solid core of returners and newcomers.

  • Abby Ford, senior captain, center back, will organize and stabilize our back four
  • Cassie Grasso, senior captain, center mid/forward, coming back from a knee injury and will provide offense and an overall edge to our team
  • Sophomore goalkeepers Kristen Buzzotta, Katelyn DeMaio, and Haley Rice taking the torch from Morgan Stott who graduated in 2016
  • Shae Breslin, junior back, returning from injury after missing the entire 2016 season
