SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Curry College women's lacrosse team has claimed the number four seed in the upcoming Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Tournament and will welcome in fifth-seeded Western New England University for a quarterfinal matchup on Saturday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m.

Endicott captured the No. 1 seed in the tournament field after going unbeaten in conference play for the third straight season. The Gulls earned a first-round bye with the top seed.

The other two quarterfinal contests pin seventh-seeded Wentworth against No. 2 seed Roger Williams. That game will take place on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The final quarterfinal features sixth-seed Salve Regina visiting No. 3 the University of New England on Saturday at 1:00.

The winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the semifinal round on Tuesday, April 30. The winner of the Curry-Western New England contest will travel to Endicott. The other two quarterfinal winners will square off in the other semifinal with the higher seed serving as the host. Game times for the semifinal round will be announced after round one is completed.

The two semifinal winners will earn a way into the CCC Women's Lacrosse Championship game, which will take place on Friday, May 3. The winner will be named the CCC Tournament Champion and will receive the conference's automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship.
