SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College senior Malorie Knowlton (Norfolk, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference and ECAC Division III North Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

She caused 17 turnovers and snatched 12 ground balls in two games last week. The senior's standout performance came during Curry's 13-8 conference win over Wentworth. Knowlton caused a career-high 13 turnovers, collected eight ground balls, and even netted two goals in the victory over the Leopards.

Knowlton and Curry return to action on Wednesday when they welcome in Framingham State for a 4:00 p.m. draw.
