MILTON, Mass. – Junior Alexis Cran (Branford, Conn.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference "Defensive Player of the Week"   Cran won 22 draw controls, caused 18 turnovers and picked up nine ground balls in a 3-0 week for the Colonels. In a 15-13 victory over Simmons, Cran scored three goals, added two assists, won nine draw controls and caused six turnovers. In a 13-6 win over Salem State, she caused seven turnovers and won eight draw controls while scoring two goals and adding two assists. In the Colonels' first CCC conference win of the season over Wentworth, Cran recorded three points on two goals and an assist, won five draw controls, scooped up two ground balls and caused five turnovers.
