MILTON, Mass. - Curry College junior defender Mel Brickey (Chelmsford, Mass.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week.  In a 2-0 week for Curry, Brickey recorded 10 caused turnovers, picked up 15 groundballs and earned 13 draw controls.  She also helped out on attack with nine points with six goals and three assists.

The Colonels currently have a 10-3 overall record and are 3-2 in the conference.
