SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College freshman Peyton Perine (Fairfax, Va.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the sport of women's basketball. This marks the eighth time this season she has won the award.

Perine averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week for the Colonels. She opened the week with a double-double against Gordon. She recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds, while also contributing an assist, three steals, and two blocks. She followed that up with a 12-point, four-rebound game against Wentworth. She had five helpers in that contest. She shot 40 percent (12-for-30) from the field during the week.

Perine and Curry (12-10 overall, 9-5 CCC) will next play on Wednesday, February 13 at home against Roger Williams at 5:30 p.m.
