SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the second straight week and the seventh time this season, Curry College freshman Peyton Perine (Fairfax, Va.) has been recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the sport of women's basketball. Additionally, Perine was named as the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Rookie of the Week.

Perine had another big conference game for the Colonels. She recorded a season-high 25 points on 42.1 percent (8-for-19) shooting this weekend in a loss to Endicott. This scoring performance was paired with 11 rebounds, giving her a double-double.

Perine and Curry (10-8 overall, 7-3 CCC) will next play on Wednesday, January 30 at the University of New England at 5:30 p.m.
