SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the second consecutive week, Curry College freshman Peyton Perine (Fairfax, Va.) has been recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the sport of women's basketball.

Perine averaged 12.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this week, while also shooting 41.5 percent. She scored double-digits twice in three games including a 19-point performance against Endicott. She also had nine rebounds against the Gulls. Her other double-digit scoring game came against Gordon in a 53-37 win, in which she scored 14.  Perine also had an 11-rebound game against Suffolk.

Perine and the Colonels return home to host Nichols College on Tuesday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m.
