MILTON, Mass. - Curry College fell to visiting Endicott College, 77-62, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's basketball action Tuesday evening in Milton, Mass. With the win the Gulls improve to 6-4 overall and 4-0 in conference play, while the Colonels fall to 4-6 on the season and 2-2 in CCC play.

The first quarter stayed close the entire way with Endicott never pulling away by more than three points with senior Kerry White (Windham, N.H.) scoring the last four points for Curry, putting the score at 18-16 in favor of the Colonels.

The second frame was much of the same with Curry obtaining their biggest lead of the half (7) after back to back three-pointers from senior Christina Deiorio (Stoughton, Mass.) and White. The Gulls worked their way back to a tie and an eventual three-point lead to close out the half at a score of 37-33.

The back and forth affair continued in the third quarter with both teams trading baskets and the Colonels pulled to within a point of Endicott. From that point, the Gulls went on a 12-5 run closing out the quarter with a score of 52-43.

Despite their best efforts, Endicott continued to distance themselves from Curry in the fourth quarter, gaining their biggest lead of the game (15) with the final score of 77-62.

The Colonels were led by Deiorio with a game second-best 18 points and five total rebounds. She was followed by sophomore Nicole Rice (Woburn, Mass.) with 15 and White finished with 11. Senior Shannon Griffith (West Hartford, Conn.) led the team with seven total rebounds while adding nine points and Rice was right behind, finishing with six total rebounds.
