SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry softball freshman Molly Horn (Buzzards Bay, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week. She helped the Colonels go 2-0 during the week in a Sunday sweep of conference opponent Wentworth.

Horn hit a double and scored two runs as the Colonels swept Wentworth in a doubleheader to open conference play. The double came in her only plate appearance of the day in the back end of the twin bill.

Horn and Curry will open up their home slate on Saturday for a doubleheader against Nichols beginning at 1:00 p.m.
