Men's Tennis Makes It Two in a Row with 7-2 Win Over Anna Maria
MILTON, Mass. – Curry defeated Anna Maria, 7-2, in non-conference men’s tennis action Monday afternoon in Milton. The Colonels improve to 3-7 overall, while the AMCATS dip to 0-5.

Curry began the match by capturing two of three doubles points. The pair of Charlie Paltsios and Rob Knight easily handled Anna Maria’s Ben Chick-Reny and Cody Brigham, 8-2, at #2. The duo of Joe Beger and Eric Hellberg blanked LeGrand Haughton and Corey Page, 8-0, at #3. The AMCATS earned their only doubles point at #1, where Dillion George and Calvin Weeks held off Toma Blatchford and Tyler Collins, 8-6.

In singles, the Colonels notched five straight-set wins, with Blatchford knocking off Weeks, 6-1, 6-4, at #2; Paltsios sweeping Chick-Reny, 6-1, 6-2, at #3; Berger dispatching Brigham, 6-0, 6-0, at #4; Knight downing Haughton, 6-0, 6-2, at #5; and Lucas Donaway besting Page, 6-1, 6-0, at #6. Anna Maria picked up its lone singles' point at #1, where George cruised past Collins, 6-2, 6-1.

Curry resumes play on Wednesday traveling to Salve Regina for a conference tilt at 3:30 p.m. Anna Maria is back in action on Thursday, traveling to Harvard University to play Wentworth in a 5:00 p.m. non-league contest.
