SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior goalkeeper Paul DeMaio (North Andover, Mass.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

DeMaio had an unbeaten week in goal for the Colonels as the team went 3-0-1 in non-conference play. DeMaio opened the week with a 1-0 clean sheet against Lasell in which he made three saves. He then earned a five-save 1-1 draw against Lesley. He closed out the week with a pair of 2-1 wins against Northern Vermont-Johnson and Southern Vermont. He made one save and five saves, respectively, in those contests. Overall, DeMaio had a 0.71 goals-against average and an .824 save percentage.
