MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College men's soccer team lost to visiting Endicott College, 3-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the Walter M. Katz Field. With the loss, the Colonels record drops to 8-8-1 overall and 2-4-0 in the CCC. With the win the Gulls improve to 8-3-3 on the season and 4-0-2 in the CCC.

Endicott was on the attack in the first half, outshooting Curry 10-3, scoring two goals.  The Gulls got on the board first when Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) found the back of the net with help from Jesse Martinez (Walpole, Mass.) at 16:47.  Ten minutes later, Thomas Martin (Derry, N.H.) extended the Endicott lead to 2-0.  Max Robbins (Longmeadow, Mass.) crossed the ball from outside the box to Martin who one-timed it past the glove of the Colonels keeper Dylan Griffin (Hornell, N.Y.).  The Gulls keeper, Will Manuel (Mount Pleasant, S.C.), made one stop to hold Curry scoreless through 45 minutes of play.

The second half showed another strong showing from the visitors.  Endicott held an 11-5 advantage in shots while putting up one more goal to make it three total on the day and earning the shutout. The Gulls final tally came with less than two minutes remaining on the clock. Robert Hartan (Hebron, Conn.) connected with Jamie Becker (Fairfield, Conn.) who struck the ball over the shoulder of the Colonels goalkeeper Adam DiBrina (Sudbury, Ontario).  DiBrina replaced Griffin in net for Curry.

The Gulls held a 21-8 shot advantage and had 11 corner kicks while the Colonels had two. 

Griffin allowed two goals and made six saves in net for Curry in the loss before giving way to DiBrina who allowed one goal making five stops.  Manuel earned the win and shutout for Endicott with three saves.

Curry travels to University of New England for a Commonwealth Coast Conference game on Wednesday, October 18 at 4 p.m. Endicott hosts Wentworth for a 7 p.m. Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup on Wednesday, October 18.
