Curry Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) "Pays It Forward"

MILTON, Mass. - On Wednesday November 18th members of the Curry College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) decided to spread some good will and smiles on campus. The SAAC Committee comprised of Athletes from teams all across campus ran a "Pay It Forward" Campaign.

In the morning student-athletes served free Dunkin Donuts coffee and munchkins in the Hafer Academic building to the delight of many faculty, staff, and students. The message was simple, have a great day and do something nice for someone else today. SAAC members handed out cards encouraging everyone to do something nice for someone else. The back of the cards gave suggestions on random acts of kindness people could do around campus.

In the afternoon a second group of student-athletes handed out single carnations and candy to people on campus hoping to simply brighten someone's day. SAAC members also held doors across campus, complimented people and wished them a wonderful day.

Curry SAAC member Mikayla Korona said "It's rewarding to know little things can make someone's day and hopefully people passed along the good deeds"

The Curry College Student Athlete Advisory Committee is headed by Men's Soccer Coach Peter Mendel and includes team members from all Varsity sports on campus.
